Marreh Sedq: Anti-Semitism Has Never Been Prevalent in Iran
Representative of the Jewish minority at the Iranian Parliament Siamak Marreh Sedq in his speech at the religious summit entitled “Role of Believers in Fighting Extremism” said: “Iran has had cultural diversity throughout its entire history. It is unprecedented for the people of Iran to have a single religion, single language, and a single race. This mosaic of cultural diversity has brought about peaceful coexistence among various groups in Iran.”

Ayatollah Taskhiri: Extremism not a Product of Religion
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, advisor to the Supreme Leader in Islamic world affairs, speaking at the religious summit of “Role of Believers in Fighting Extremism” said: “In one view, extremism with terrorism as one of its manifestations, can be taken as a political problem that comes from the oppressions and tyranny of the governments. In another view, it is a social problem the roots of which must be discovered. At the same time, it is my opinion that the essence of extremism and terrorism is an ethical problem.”
